The New Luxor Theatre

The New Luxor Theatre in Rotterdam, located close to the famous Erasmusbrug, is next in the line of world class venues for squash.



The famous theatre in the harbour city was build ten years ago and has since then hosted a variety of productions of top entertainment of the highest calibre.

Surprisingly, the podium of the Luxor Theatre has never been used for a sporting event, which is about to change for the World Open Squash 2011. A full ASB glass court will be erected on the stage of the renowned theatre in Rotterdam which has a seating capacity of 1,500.

Squash fans from all over the world will come down to the Dutch City of Sports to witness the best squash in the world as both the men and women go head-to-head in their quest to become World Champion in a stunning setting.

Victoria Squash

Victoria Squash plays host to the preliminary rounds of the World Open Squash 2011.

A record of 160 matches in 6 days (October 28th – November 2nd) are being played on the courts of one of the oldest and most successful squash clubs in the Netherlands, which is owned and driven by enthusiastic members.



The club has a competitive drive and always aims for the highest. The first teams, both men and women, are strong contenders in the elite level of the Dutch league, but there’s also a large group of recreational and youth players who enjoy playing their favourite sport at one of the 12 squash courts that Victoria has.

Victoria Squash is situated in the ‘Kralingse Bos’ and is proud to host the biggest squash championship ever!

 Parkeergarage (Q-Park) De Maastoren (P0)

 Parking Facilities next to Luxor (P2) and other streets on the Wilhelminapier

 Parkeergarage World Port Center (P3). Parkeergarage Erasmusbrug (P4) on the other side of the Erasmusbridge

 Parking facilities at the Laan op Zuid (10 min walk)  at Vuurplaat (P5) with approx 200 places. 

 Parking facility at the Posthumalaan opposite Hogeschool INHolland (P6) with approx 58 places
